To give a gift anonymously:

Step 1) Write a letter to our office with the following information (All contact information is required because we call and email the gift recipient to let them know a gift is arriving by mail. Otherwise, they may not accept the gift):

Step 2) Write a check payable to The Give Initiative for the sum of Gift Amount + $2.38 (for regular shipping) or Gift Amount + $6.50 (for certified mail with proof of signature). (Note: The extra fee is for stamps and envelopes. We do not take any cut from your gift, though donations are of course welcome).

Step 3) Optional: Write a note you would like us to re-type and pass onto the gift recipient.

Step 5) Optional: Feel free to use the Contact form on our website to let us know you've sent a gift our way. 

Step 6) We will send you confirmation once we've processed the gift and sent it to your friend. We will send proof of shipping if you opted for certified mail and we will let you know if we have reached your friend via phone or email to let them know a gift is on its way. Once your friend has deposited the check, we will send you a scan of the check with their signature on the back if they signed it. If your friend sends us a thank you note, we will pass that along to you, as well.
